A person who accidentally or otherwise hits a dog, livestock or large animal with an automobile or other vehicle and injures the same within the city must make a reasonable effort to promptly render aid and/or report it to the police. (Ord. No. 2004-20, §§ 1, 2, 9-21-04. 1976 Code § 6-2-2)
