The police chief shall be appointed by the city manager. The city manager shall provide for the appointment of as many police officers as may from time to time be deemed necessary for the safety and good order of the city. (Ord. No. 2003-15, §§ 1, 2, 11-4-03. 1976 Code § 4-1-2)
