The purposes of this title are to implement the general plan of the City of Show Low; to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air; to lessen congestion in the streets; to prevent the overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewage, schools, parks, and other public requirements; to provide for the social, physical, and economic advantages resulting from comprehensive and orderly planned use of land resources; and to otherwise promote the health, safety, convenience, and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Show Low, Arizona.
