Whenever the mayor shall determine that an emergency exists due to the threat or danger of fire within the city, the mayor may, by proclamation, make such orders and regulations as are deemed appropriate, up to and including the prohibition of any and all types of fires and burning including smoking. The proclamation shall be posted in at least five (5) public places within twenty-four (24) hours after the mayor signs such proclamation. Any person violating the terms of the proclamation shall be guilty of a class one misdemeanor and upon conviction therefor shall be punished as provided in Section 1.25.010(B). (Ord.
