7.05.010 Definitions.
The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this chapter, have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Display fireworks: Those fireworks defined by A.R.S. § 36-1601(3).
Fireworks: Those fireworks defined by A.R.S. § 36-1601(4).
Novelty items: Federally deregulated novelty items known as snappers, snap caps, party poppers, glowworms, snakes, toy smoke devices, and certain toys as defined in A.R.S. §§ 36-1601(4)(b)(i) to (4)(b)(iii).
Permissible consumer fireworks: Those fireworks as defined by A.R.S. § 36-1601(7).
Supervised public display: A monitored performance of display fireworks open to the public and authorized by permit by the fire marshal or his designee. (Ord. No. 2010-16, § 1, 9-21-10; Ord.
