(A) All cases involving a criminal violation of this Code shall be governed by the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure.

(B) Per A.R.S. § 13-804, upon a defendant’s conviction for an offense causing economic loss to any person, the court, in its sole discretion, may order that all or any portion of the fine imposed be allocated as restitution to be paid by the defendant to any person who suffered an economic loss caused by defendant’s conduct. If the defendant in a case of criminal violation of this Code fails to pay a fine or restitution as ordered by the court, the city may collect such fine or restitution in any manner provided by law, including petitioning the court to issue an order to show cause, to issue an arrest warrant and to punish the defendant for contempt of court.
